Are you interested in learning how to get started researching your Danish roots? This lecture focuses on finding your immigrant ancestors, tracing your ancestry back to Denmark, and utilizing unique Danish resources to help you build your family tree. This presentation is best for people who are familiar with basic genealogy methods and resources, and are beginning their research into their Danish ancestors’ lives.
Speaker is Jaymie Middendorf, a genealogist and a public librarian who has a passion for helping others find their family history. Jaymie has deep roots in Chicago, and relocated to Denver to serve the Mile High City as the Genealogy and Special Collections Librarian at the Denver Public Library. She volunteers as the President of the National Danish-American Genealogical Society.
