Based in Minnesota, the Minnesota Yankee Interest Group (MNYIG) supports genealogists searching for roots in the northeastern Unites States. Our interests range from the recent past, to the 1620 arrival of the Mayflower in North America, and earlier. You’re invited to collaborate with us as we help each other find family origins, stories, and history in:

If you are new to Yankee research and would like introductory information about the MNYIG:

If you are an MGS member, you can login to the MGS website, access your Profile, and check the Yankee Interest Group box; OR
Join MGS, and select Yankee Interest Group in your membership application. Your MGS membership allows you to participate in any of the MGS Interest Groups at no additional cost.
