Presented by Linda Debe, sponsored by the Minnesota Genealogical Society.
a virtual program from the comfort of your desk.

Audience Level – All

Linda Debe will show ways to work smarter, not harder with free tools from programs to extensions to built-in features of their PC or Mac. These tools will help with organization, research, writing, and plotting land deeds, as well as abstracting, extracting, and transcribing records. Learn how to make your PC work for you rather than the other way around. There is something in this webinar for everyone and who doesn’t love FREE!

About the Speaker:
Linda Debe is a lecturer, writer, and lifelong student with 35 years of genealogy research experience. She holds an AAS degree in Electronics Technology from the United States Air Force. She is enrolled in ProGen 54 and the National Institute for Genealogical Studies.

Linda attends national genealogical conferences and institutes to further her education. She enjoys volunteering for the Virtual Genealogical Association as their technology virtuoso. In 2020, she assisted with the technical side of their annual conference on Zoom. Being Microsoft Office certified in Access and Excel, she applies her training by creating automated spreadsheets to help with genealogy research.

When not researching, Linda can be found with her daughter, a genealogist in her own rite, wandering cemeteries and taking photographs. Her retirement dream is to own an RV and travel to all the repositories researching her ancestors, and helping others with their research, stopping at various cemeteries along the way to take photos.
