Presented by Bryna O'Sullivan, sponsored by the Minnesota Genealogical Society.  A virtual program from the comfort of your desk.

Audience Level: All

Whether your grandmother was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution or you’re looking to document your family’s line to the Mayflower for the first time, there are some common issues that can slow down the application process. This webinar will introduce the ten (10) most common mistakes made by applicants and explain how to effectively avoid them.

Bryna O’Sullivan is a professional genealogist based in Middletown, Connecticut, and is a French to English genealogical translator. As proprietor of Charter Oak Genealogy, she specializes in lineage society applications. With 10 years of experience, she assists clients in joining the General Society of Mayflower Descendants (Mayflower Society), the National Society Colonial Dames of America, and many other lineage societies using resources that extend across North America and through difficult to document regions.

Bryna holds a BA degree in History and French Literature (Tufts University), MA degree in History (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill), and MA in Theology (Holy Apostles College and Seminary). She has completed the Boston University Certificate in Genealogical Research, the National Institute for Genealogical Studies Professional Learning Certificate in Genealogical Studies, the DAR Genealogical Education Program, and is an alumnus of ProGen Study Program.
