Lost Minnesota Photographs IIFrom time to time, MGS receives photographs found in various places what are identified in some fashion as being of Minnesotans long ago. Photographs Page 1 Photographs Page 3 Submitted by Linda Reverchon in Abbotsford, BC Unknown Ahlberg-Peterson Photos There is nothing written on the back of any of these photographs, all of which are in cabinet card format. The portraits are from a plush-covered album which belonged to my great-grandparents Albertina and Andrew Ahlberg who, after immigrating from Småland, Sweden, in 1886, were married in St. Paul, then lived out the rest of their lives in the Seward Neighborhood of Minneapolis. The people portrayed are all likely Minnesota relatives or friends of the Ahlbergs. My guess is that they are mostly Swedes or offspring of the same. I have more photos to identify, those relating to the family of the Ahlbergs' son-in-law John Hill. We'll see first how much success we have with this first batch!
